SE Michigan Crafters Meetup @ Blue House

A meetup for for crafters in the SE Michigan area. Bring your own project and sewing machine (if applicable) and join hosts Rae of made-by-rae.com and Karen of Patterns By Figgy's for a child-free evening of sewing, knitting, and crafting.

This fabulous evening will be held at Blue House in Ann Arbor, located across from the Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor Michigan. Check out bluehouseannarbor.com for more information on Blue House. Parking is available on site and street.

We'll provide:

- irons and ironing boards

- a few cutting mats and rotary cutters (feel free to bring yours too, we have tables where you can spread out if you need to cut)

- some chairs for knitting/embroiderery/crochet and other hand-crafters

- tables and outlets for sewing machines*

- hot tea, coffee, and fizzy drinks (pop, water)

Please bring:

- $5 (suggested donation) to cover our location costs

- a snack to share if you can

- your project(s) to work on and a sewing machine if you are sewing*

If you are reserving spaces for friends, please let me know so I can make name tags for them too. And if you find you cannot make it, please take your name off the list so someone else can come!  Please see made-by-rae.com for more information.

*If you will need an outlet for your sewing machine, please email Rae (rae.made@gmail.com) no later than Friday, February 4, 2011 so we'll know how many extension cords to bring.
